Her down-to-earth personality and down-to-business approach win over the most discerning clients while gaining the trust and confidence of everyone involved in the planning process. Inspired by her clients’ personal stories and the relationship they build together, Beth creates visually beautiful events that exceed all expectations.
Following a decade at top advertising agencies in Chicago, Beth began event production for non-profit organizations. A 2009 fundraising gala for her son's preschool led to her planning her first wedding. That encounter, along with the encouragement from her family (and therapist), inspired her to start what is now Beth Bernstein Events. Just three years after starting her business, Beth received Wish Upon a Wedding’s Shining Star Award and has since been included in PartySlate’s Top 50 Planners list.
BETH IS A FIRM BELIEVER IN COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION
She is energized by her peers and hones her skillset at wedding industry conferences around the globe. As the Director of Chapter Development for WIPA (Wedding Industry Professionals Association), Beth is a highly sought-after mentor and speaker.
An advocate of equality for all, she proudly serves on the NSBWEP (National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals) Allied Industry Council in their mission to support more diversity and inclusion within the wedding industry.
When she’s not reviewing timelines or designing the perfect tablescape, Beth is likely sipping on vanilla lattes, shopping with friends, or riding a bike that goes nowhere at SoulCycle. Whether cheering on her son at the hockey rink alongside her husband or - when the stars align just right - seeing Taylor Swift in concert with her daughter, Beth prioritizes quality time with her family.
