Ritz Carlton Chicago Wedding: Amy & Jon
Amy and Jon’s Ritz Carlton Chicago wedding was the epitome of a classic city wedding. The Chicago and New York natives created their aesthetic around their classy and timeless style. Their traditional Jewish ceremony was followed by a gorgeous ballroom reception, where guests enjoyed a four-course dinner and dancing to a 14-piece orchestra under luminous candlelight. Amy and Jon’s nuptials were the perfect fit for their loving personalities and elegant taste—We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
Sophisticated simplicity…
Something blue, anyone? I also LOVE the shimmer!
Look at that gem!
We love Amy & Jon’s invitation suite. Deep navy letterpress and silver foil set the tone for their elegant evening and the typography added a modern touch.
Amy & Jon welcomed their out-of-town guests with boxes filled with classic Chicago treats, including Garrett’s popcorn.
Adding a bejeweled belt to a crisp white dress really gives it a “wow” factor!
Who said everything has to be white on your wedding day? We love the bold pop of red on Amy’s nails.
Enjoying a quiet moment, reading a note from her husband-to-be.
Then, it was time for their first look!
Amy modeled her bouquet of cascading phalaenopsis orchids after the bouquet her mom carried down the aisle.
The decadent lobby of The Ritz Carlton Chicago provided many beautiful photo vignettes.
Even with the city buzzing around, you can still feel like you’re the only ones in the world on your wedding day.
Chicago has THE best architecture. (OK, we may be biased, but come on!)
We love the simplicity of the bridesmaids’ long-stemmed calla lilies and how the bright green and white pops off their midnight blue dresses.
Nothing more classic than black tuxes and bow ties
Such a gorgeous wedding party!
A quiet stroll alone with your beloved will keep you grounded on your wedding day.
Wedding guests arriving at the Ritz Carlton Chicago were greeted by a stunning installation of orchids dripping from the crystal chandelier above.
The look was then carried through to the Chuppah.
Taking it all in just before she walks down the aisle, Amy is poised and ready to go!
We love the Jewish tradition of both parents walking the bride (and groom) down the aisle.
Proud parents looking on – such a tender moment.
Mazel Tov!
We love how lighting the arrangements from below made them glow.
As Chicago and New York natives respectively, Amy & Jon showed their allegiances to their home baseball teams with this custom cake-topper.
That’s a wrap!
