Wedding Day Tips Before “I Do”
After months and months of planning, anticipation, and excitement, the big day has finally arrived! Well, now what? I always give my couples practical & fun tips below to prepare them for all that’s to come. Take a peek and some of my biggest tips below.
Handwritten notes are the perfect way to set the romantic and personal tone for your wedding day. Take a deep breath and soak it all in. You’ll be surprised how valuable this moment of reflection truly is once the day is complete.
All that glitters is gold. Make sure your photographer captures all the details – from your shoes to your purse to the family heirloom jewelry that you’re borrowing. (And don’t forget about your wedding rings!) You’ll want to look back and remember every aspect of the big day.
Ladies! Remember to wear a robe while getting your hair & makeup done so you can easily slip into your wedding gown. And bubbly – always bubbly! Toast with a glass of champagne, and be sure to take a look around the room. Appreciate each and every one of your bridesmaids and family members that helped get you to where you are today.

Selecting a wedding dress is a long process. Take a minute and reflect. Find a picture-perfect spot to hang your wedding dress. Use a custom hanger with your name or “Bride” to make it even more special.

Remember to eat and hydrate throughout the day! What could be better than chocolate-covered strawberries for a little sugar rush?
Don’t forget the groom! Fun T-shirts are great for the guys to pal around in before they get dressed. Each groom has his own personal style and your wedding day is the perfect time to bust out details like custom cufflinks or a gifted watch that make him feel special.
We love first looks! It’s such an intimate moment shared only between you and your beloved. You will love looking back on these shots, and so will generations to come.
Take some time to get photos of just you and your spouse without the hustle and bustle of your full wedding party.
But don’t forget the wedding party either! Take a minute with your bridesmaids and groomsmen for some special photos with the people that mean the most to you.
