When A+K came to us and said,“We have no idea what we want. We trust you.”, our client dreams came true! (“We trust you” are a planner’s three favorite words in the entire world.) Directly overlooking Lake Michigan in a room of windows, their venue, The Adler Planetarium, is the best spot in Chicago to view the beautiful skyline and watch the sky go from pink and orange at sunset to purple and midnight blue. We wanted to incorporate all of the colors and shades guests would be seeing throughout the evening and achieved that with a custom agate pattern woven throughout the paper suite, showcasing soft pastel florals during the ceremony, and anchoring the reception with deep blue linens and twinkling candlelight. Special touches such as a gospel choir wowed guests and made the night unforgettable for all.
